How the Will Search Works
If you are looking for a will for a deceased family member, client, or estate matter, you may submit a request to the Grey County Law Association. The association can circulate your request to participating members to determine whether any member may have relevant information.
Important Notice
- The search is limited to participating members of the Grey County Law Association.
- A successful search cannot be guaranteed.
- The association does not provide legal advice.
- If a lawyer has closed their practice or retired, users may also need to contact the Law Society of Ontario.
- Personal information should only be submitted for the purpose of conducting the will search.
Information That Helps With a Will Search
- Full legal name of the deceased person
- Any previous names or aliases
- Date of birth
- Date of death
- Last known address
- Name of spouse or family members, if relevant
- Name of previous lawyer, if known
- Any known law firm or location connected to the deceased
- Your contact information
